Notification of abstract selection
Notification of abstract selection will be sent to the presenter by e-mail no later than November 15th 2019.When your abstract is selected for oral or poster presentation, you will be notified by the scientific committee. Lecturers will automatically be registered and receive Conference Tickets without additional fee.
All abstracts must be written in English
The abstract should contain neither illustrations nor tables. No identifying features such as names of authors, hospitals, medical schools, clinics, services, associations, countries or cities may be listed in the title or text of the abstract.
The abstract title and text are limited to 250 words. A “blind” selection process will be used. Authors’ data is needed for the Conference registration, the Conference program on the website and for the ReAttach Conference Book of Abstracts.
Preference for oral presentation or poster shall be indicated
When preference for oral submission is indicated, the scientific committee will decide whether a submission is affected to a poster session or an oral session, depending on interest and quality. Abstract Format:
The abstract should describe the main objectives of your study and should be structured according APA guidelines: Introduction, Method, Results and Discussion. It should explain how your study was done and summarize most important results and their significance.
The person who submits the abstract is considered to be the presenter. A substitute presenter is to be named in case the presenter is unable to attend the conference.
Abstract deadlines will be strictly observed.
Only abstracts received by the published deadline are guaranteed acceptance for evaluation. Abstracts submitted after the abstract deadline will be rejected.
Abstract modification: It will be possible to modify your abstract until the submission deadline.
Abstracts will be printed exactly as they are submitted
It is the author's responsibility to submit a correct abstract. Any error in spelling, grammar or scientific fact will be reproduced as typed by the author.
Only the presenter may request the withdrawal of an accepted abstract until 31 October 2019 Requests for withdrawals must reach the Conference organization in writing by e-mail. It is the responsibility of the author to check whether the Conference organization has received his/her withdrawal message.
Disclosure of potential conflict of interest:
All authors, including all co-authors submitting abstracts are required to disclose their sources of contributed support (commercial, public, or private foundation grants). Authors are also required to signify whether there may be a real or perceived conflict of interest. Disclosures will be included in the Book of Abstracts and must also take place at the time of presentation (both orally and in writing).
Time allotted for oral presentation
The time allotted for the presentation of oral communication is 30 (thirty) minutes for presentation and 5 (five) minutes for questions.
Specific time-slots will be allocated to the presentation of posters, during which the presenter will have to remain close to his/her poster to present and answer questions.
Presentation slides should be prepared at least one week before the Conference and send to the Conference Committee to avoid technical problems. In case of any delay please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Anonymity and Respect
Anonymity and respectful representation of any person portrayed in any presentation (oral or poster) is mandatory. Supply of the written consent of the person and/or his or her legally authorized representative should be the authors’ responsibility. The Scientific Committee does not take any responsibility for it.
